What
is Pretreatment
package with spiral

This
pretreatment package
is composed of mechanical
fine screen, compactor,
spiral flow grit
remover and sand
washing conveyor.
This
package is installed
at front stage of
treatment plant,
to remove big grit
in the size of more
than 3mm and to
separate clean sand
from raw water,
letting light weight
organic component
pass it through
to the next treatment
stage. It has great
advantage to reduce
total load of treatment
plant with more
than 90% of sand
removal efficiency.

of Pretreatment
package with spiral

1. Installed
at front part of
treatment plant
to screen fine grit
that prevents pumps
and piping from
clogging.
2. Fine
grit of raw water
is separated by
front screen.
3. Small
grit passed through
fine screen is divided
into light organic
component and heavy
sand by
spiral
flow grit remover.
Heavy sand settles
down, light small
organic component
rises to the
surface
and passes through.
4. Settled
heavy sand is lifted
to the sand separator
by air lift device.
5. Finally
lifted sand is cleaned
by grit washing
separator, and discharged.
